The Ta Collective

Retreats for Muslim Women

Reflection, activities and a chance to disconnect from the world and connect to God

Safe space to worship

Through congregational prayers, dhikr walks, journalling, Quran reading circles and study circles, we want you to feel at home and benefit from the company of like-minded women with whom you can journey to Allah

Disconnecting from the world

We create spaces that allow for reflection, contemplation, soulful activities and connection to like-minded sisters. A typical retreat itinerary consists of religious, creative and active sessions, all designed to help you disconnect from daily pressures and tune into your relationship with Allah

Shared spaces

We only work with venues and suppliers that have similar values to us and tread lightly on the planet, ensuring our retreats are God-conscious and intentional from the very beginning

FAQs

What happens at a Muslim women’s retreat?

Our retreats are a space to find an injection of faith through rest, recovery and connection. Read what one of our attendees said about her experience.

Are Muslim women’s retreats suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! Our itinerary has a mix of physical, creative, and communal activities, focused on boosting your spirituality from every angle.

Any Arabic language used is explained in English. For our Quran circles you are also welcome to read in your own language, followed by explanation and discussions in English.

What should I pack for an Islamic retreat?

After signing up you will be sent a suggested packing list, depending on the season and planned activities. Halal, nourishing meals will be provided, although you are welcome to bring snacks for the time you’re with us.

There is also a communal prayer space and attendees are encouraged to bring their own prayer mats.

Can I come alone?

Of course! We have had many attendees come alone and leave with strong friendships and new connections they never expected.

Our activities include plenty of time to spend in community with like-minded sisters or taking some time in the beautiful grounds of each venue in khalwa (intentional time alone with Allah).

Are Ta retreats women-only?

Yes, all our events, including retreats, are for women-only. We welcome Muslim women of all backgrounds to engage in our faith-based activities, communal prayer programming and reminders from our teachers.

Are your retreats sponsored?

Yes, we are currently accepting sponsors for our retreats. If your business or brand is interested in running a meaningful workshop or buying ad space on our digital and physical materials, drop us a line at admin@tacollective.co.uk.
